Tuna Steak Curry Ingredients.
- 1 ½ Kg firm Tuna steak.
- 1 large onion.
- 2 large tomatoes.
- 1 large sweet green pepper.
- 10 cloves of garlic.
- 1 to 2 teaspoon garam masala.
- Coconut milk.
- Tamarind to taste.
Tuna Steak Curry Method.
1. Clean the Tuna steak well and fry very slightly on both sides or do it quickly under the grill.
2. Now put into a saucepan with enough coconut milk to cover and a little over. Add tamarind to taste. For this recipe, most people prefer to use only the thick coconut milk. Or, if you think there is not quite enough of the thick milk, you can add in a little of the thinner extract.
3. Since there are many kinds of tamarind, both sweet and sour, the amount to be used must be decided by the individual. This will depend on the kind of tamarind the cook has in the kitchen. Tamarind is considered to be good especially with fish.
4. Grind together the onion, tomatoes, sweet pepper and garlic.
5. Add to the fish, along with the garam masala, and salt to taste.
6. Simmer very slowly until the fish is tender and the sauce thickened. After the fish is cooked, one can serve with boiled white rice or coconut rice. You can opt to coat with a white or parsley sauce.

Tuna Potato Salad Ingredients.
- 300g New Potatoes.
- 5 Spring onions (or baby green).
- 250g Flaked tuna (cooked or from tin).
- 100 g Loose sweet corn (pre-boiled).
- 1/4 tsp freshly chopped lemon thyme.
- 1 Table spoon olive Oil.
- 1 Red sweet Pepper.
- 1 Green sweet Pepper.
- Salt and Pepper.
Tuna Potato Salad Method.
1. Slice potatoes (leave skin on) horizontally 1,5 cm thick.
2. Boil potatoes for 5 minutes.
3. Drain and leave to one side.
4. De-seed and chop peppers finely. Add peppers, potatoes, chopped thyme and sweet corn to a large frying pan with 1 table spoon of olive oil.
5. Chop and add spring onions to the pan, stir regularly on high heat for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and take off the heat.
6. Allow to cool down.
7. Gently mix tuna flakes to the vegetables and serve cold.
